The Triennale's commission to a promising Pedro Cabeleira - the author of the prize winning feature film Damned Summer, with various shorts films and a film production company, Videolotion, under his belt. The film Filomena counted on the participation of Leonor Teles Photography to materialize a portrait of life in the city and the architecture that is part of it. The narrative follows the protagonist - whose name you already guessed - through 6 contemporary Portuguese architectural works, allowing us to put her personal dilemmas in perspective, through the experience of the architectonic spaces that provide it context. The fictional film, result of yet another bet of the Triennale in young and emerging national talents, sees its effort recognized in Portuguese territory now that it is part of the National Competition category of the 16th IndieLisboa. Since its foundation, inthis festival fills a void in the provision of films which Portuguese audiences are unable to access through mainstream distribution channels. The Triennale is very pleased to see this film première in a festival with the importance of Indie, a fact that adds to the many motives to be there.
